To break out the double stroller or not—for parents of more than one young child, that’s often the question. Admittedly, there are times in your travels when a single stroller and a baby carrier will suffice—or perhaps two single strollers instead of a double, when you have two people to push them.

While this stroller isn’t the lightest (some airlines may require you to check it before you pass through security), it has sturdy all-terrain tires and and an all-around hearty design that makes it a cinch for pushing over rough surfaces and cobbled streets. 6. JOOVY Caboose Ultralight
With a front-facing seat and room on the back to either sit or stand atop the ride-on platform for toddler or kid number two, this JOOVY ultralight gem gets bonus points for being extra light (just 22 pounds) and super portable. A total kid weight of up to 90 pounds can be accommodated onboard the stroller, but do note that the rear seat is more bench-style, and far more suited for toddlers and older kids than those under age 1. Considered the lightest sit-and-stand stroller on the market, this one’s a favorite when saving space and weight is your prime concern on the road.

It might look like a wagon, but this cool Stroller Wagon from Veer pushes just like a stroller and might be just what you’re looking for when taking two kids on the road. Rugged, airless tires make it easy to push the Veer like a stroller or pull it wagon-style across rough terrain. Car seats can be accommodated or you can have multiple kids sit aboard, wagon style. The stroller easily folds down to transport with ease and can stand on its end, too, for convenient storage.
