The package includes a pirate-themed tent (complete with a porthole window, of course!), signature bedding, a battery-powered lantern, treasure chest and pirate map, and more.
5. The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples – Naples, FL
The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, offers the in-room camping experience… with a space theme! This one includes a play telescope, a star lantern, an activity book, a cozy throw blanket, and more. The in-room camping experience is available for suite accommodations only, and is recommended for children between ages 3 and 8.

10. The Little Nell – Aspen, CO
The Little Nell is world-renowned for luxury, so of course it offers a comfortable, if not once-in-a-lifetime setting for indoor camping. Upon arrival to your suite, you’ll find a teepee loaded with camping-themed books, travel journals, stuffed animals, and in-room S’mores. Little Nell’s children’s amenities only accentuate the experience—step stools, toddler wash mitts, child-size robes and slippers, toys, rattles, and more are available. 12. Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel – Portland, OR
When it comes time to camp out at night, the Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel has you covered. Free of charge, guests can have a good old-fashioned indoor campout delivered to their room, best for children ages three to eight. Included in the package are a floor cushion, teddy bear sleeping bag and campfire nightlight.
Wait, there’s more. Look out for the scout leader, or shall we say, the Bedtime Butler, who makes the rounds four to five nights a week, delivering a cart of traditional nightcaps and a selection of other treats to rooms. The surprise and delight offerings rotate with the seasons, but often include local bourbons, hot tea, fresh towels and slippers for adults, plus cookies, cocoa, and books for kids. The catch is, you can’t request or ‘order’ the Bedtime Butler. He or she will visit rooms at random with their cart of complimentary ‘nightcaps’ to choose from, so guests have to keep an ear out for a knock at the door. Kids love it and it’s a great way to restock the tent with treats.
13. The Logan – Philadelphia
The Logan in downtown Philadelphia offers the urban campout package in their oversized living rooms with panoramic views. The hotel’s Fort Blu Kids Camping Package allows guests to transform their hotel room into a cozy campsite, where they can savor classic Midwest wilderness with S’mores; tell stories while perched on log-shaped pillows, which guests can take home; and sleep under a starry night sky in a kid-sized tent, which families can also take home to continue the camping adventure. The camping adventure never ends with the bonus of the mobile campsite from Mall of America to your home!
