After a 10 hour drive it was nice to walk in to this hotel to a pleasant young man who booked a room for us on the first floor. The best way to describe the hotel lobby and our room is old style southern charm suiting Louisiana perfectly. The exterior and interior of this hotel is clean. Our king room was a large carpet free room with a charming vintage feel. Though the bed a bit bouncy it was comfortable and the bedding clean. The room was very quiet and we slept well. The TV was surprisingly small and was off centered to any area of the room to watch it(!?!)The room had a large eating area with a table and chairs, nice size counter, mini fridge, coffee and microwave. There were no restaurants(that I saw) to quickly walk to but its just a minute drive. Breakfast is included but we didn't try.

A/C didn’t work all that great. The hotel needs some TLC. The rooms a beat up. The staff is very nice and helpful. Located near (maybe 5 miles away) Perkins Row, places to eat & things to do are a short drive away.
