We booked 2 bedrooms, 1 single and 1 double. We drove 6 hours. Arrived very tired.

Recepcionist was so arrogant and not helpful at all.

The double bedroom had a very dirty toilet and water container didn't flush.............so cleaning of the toilet wasn't done.

Disgusting.

Room service very expensive and food rubish.

Besides the bad experience we had, this hotel is objectively not on a nice location: too close to the subway railways, which don't go underground in Corona area but just in front of the hotel, so the noise is unbearable. Here's then what happened to me: a couple of months before coming to NYC, I sent them an email to ask for some info. Their answer was 'You should have been informed earlier but we can't host you anymore because of some plumbing issues. You can then choose to stay either at the Holiday Inn or the Corona Hotel nearby'. So we asked if there was any change in the final amount and we were reassured more than once that our booking wouldn't have been canceled and that the price would have stayed the same. Hence we agreed to meet at the reception of Best Western first and then we would have been accompanied by an employee to the hotel we chose. Well, nobody accompanied us, despite carrying two heavy suitcases, but at least we were reassured once again that the other hotel already knew everything. With a big surprise, not only our 'actual' hotel was not informed on our reservation but we were requested to pay the normal fee (1.000 dollars more than our agreement). Fortunately the hotel we finally stayed in solved the issue, but this episode convinced me once again to avoid Best Western chain as much as possible in the future.
