Located in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana on the banks of the Bitterroot River, the Bitterroot River Inn & Conference Center is a non-smoking, pet-friendly property. There are 65 guestrooms and suites, all with either king or queen beds, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, free high-speed Internet, a coffee maker, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Some rooms also have jetted or garden tubs, fireplaces, and sleeper sofas. Every morning, the hotel serves a complimentary breakfast buffet with fresh waffles, and each night there are complimentary cookies. To add to the enjoyment, the hotel has a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center and outdoor sundeck. RV parking is available as well.

Stay here in Hamilton Area

I have stayed here 7 straight years on annual week-long trips and I always come back. This is why:

The Staff are consistently excellent and freindly.

The atmosphere and decoration make you feel that you really are in Western Montana.

The rooms are clean, as are the common areas. The free cookies at night are fine.

To be fair I will add some Cons:
Realizing where you are and what you are paying : yes the exercise room is tiny and the free breakfast is only C+/B-.

If there truly is a hotel that is nicerbetter valuecleaner to stay at within 40 minutes of Hamilton I would honestly be shocked.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Very warm and inviting lodging with real wood beams, fireplace, Bev Doolittle paintings and Western feel. Staff are more than accommodating and go the extra mile for your comfort.
