Located on Barbados’ south coast, this resort has one of the most stunning beaches on the island. With its prime locale, families can enjoy great restaurants, nearby attractions and an exciting nightlife. For active families there is a wide range of activities to choose from including numerous water sport activities, off-roading tours, cruises, day trips and more.
Catering to children, the hotel offers a number of amenities for kids from dining to accommodations and activities. Children 15 and under stay free when sharing a room with adults, while children under 4 eat for free. Also, children 4 to 9 receive 50 percent off main menu items at select restaurants. The resort also provides a children’s program, offering a number of supervised activities including poolside games, arts and crafts, board games, story time and beach play. The Little Bear’s Club offers fun games, movies and dinner every Friday night.

We travel to Barbados several times each year. This year will mark our 34th.year & enjoy our time at the Bougainvillea Resort. The facility is clean, the gardens are lush & well maintained. But best of all the employees are great. the staff is well trained and works hard to make sure that get the most from your visit. In addition, we should mention that the cab drivers serving the resort are great with a special note for Trevor Clarke who we use twice each day & never misses a beat.

They do not advertise this but all guests receive a 10 minute complimentary massage which is good enough to make you want to book the full treatment. Don’t know why concierges don’t mention this. Anyway great location and lovely beach. Staff excellent especially Sonia in the pool bar. Always smiling and always in control! We booked a BA package on room only as there are cooking facilities for making a decent breakfast in the room: ours had a balcony and overlooked the pool area. A ground floor might have been better but you lose room space for your terrace. Your call. You can easily walk along the beach to the Gap with shops/bars/restaurants and. If in he mood to Oistins for the fish fry but a 3.50 Barbados dollar ZR ride might br better.
Food OK burgers great but we are out mostly. Would like to have tried Siam fully but just had some light bites there which were very good.
Al in all would stay again.
