Visit the Southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic at Carabela Bavaro Resort. The resort sits on a stretch of Punta Cana’s white sandy beach. Carabela has direct access to the town of El Cortecito, offering many shops and restaurants and art galleries. The all-inclusive resort rates cover meals and beverages at a buffet and at the a la carte restaurants. Six restaurants in total are at Carabela, serving French to Italian to Mexican dishes. Daily activities are also included, such as non-motorized water sports, dance lessons, tennis and aerobics. An impressive 470 rooms and suites are spread across four buildings with up to four stories. Rooms are air conditioned with televisions, refrigerators and terraces. Children enjoy a kids’ club, a playground, a mini-disco and two swimming pools. A range of sports are available for free at the resort, including sailing, kayaking, diving clinics and snorkeling.
