Carlsbad by the Sea Resort is a comfy, family-friendly choice less than a mile from LEGOLAND as well as the beach (despite it’s name, it’s not right next to the beach). All rooms come with private patio or balcony, free Wi-Fi, a microwave and fridge. Families may appreciate its heated outdoor pool, hot tub, free Continental breakfast and free shuttle service to LEGOLAND. Bonus for shoppers: Carlsbad Premium Outlets is across the street.

We had a great experience staying here at legoland hotel, the room was clean and all the staff were friendly and approachable. The kids loved the room with the bunk beds. Our suite have a sofa bed as well. Our clean staff, Pettina was awesome.

Accommodations were ok, the price was very reasonable and it’s close to the beach. Room did smell a bit older and looked older too. Nice restaurants nearby and a very nice area to visit. Was in town for a business trip and a one night stay. Served the purpose...
