Situated in the Alberni district of downtown, the mid-range, boutique Carmana Plaza offers a variety of amenities to families, including free Wi-Fi, onsite laundry, fitness center and umbrellas. The hotel offers roomy, inclusive suites, all equipped with full kitchens, including full-sized fridges, stovetop oven, microwave and dining seating. Rooms come in a variety of configurations, including Standard Floor one-bedroom suite with one king or two twin beds plus sitting room; Executive Floor suites with one queen bed; and Carmana Floor suites on the hotel’s highest floors with one queen bed. The Carmana two-bedroom suites include a queen bed in each bedroom. Extra beds, such as a crib, rollaway or sofa bed, are available for an extra charge (the in-room sofa beds require extra bedding, the reason for the charge). Across the street, find a good supermarket and many restaurants in the area. Some smoking rooms are available. Kids 15 and under stay free.

Great Hotel - Awesome Rooms - Excellent Location - Friendly - Hidden Gem

Perfect hotel to book when visiting Vancouver .The rooms are huge, include a bedroom, a dining area, a living area, a kitchen and an office (with a view!). The location can't be beat in central Vancouver. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and it appears that the lobby is staffed 24 hours a day. Not a lot of amenities available on site, but there is so much around this hotel, that it really isn't needed. Hotel was much better than expected and it will be the place to stay for a repeat visit to Vancouver in the near future.

Perfect location opposite Urban Fare (grocery market everything you need incl. hot food) & Keg Steakhouse, exceptionally clean thanks to Carol in housekeeping (daily serviced), comfortable large 1 bdrm apartment especially with our 2 year old & has everything you need. Large king size bed was so comfy, lovely bathroom products of which along with towels are replaced each day. Easy to walk down to Stanley Park, Coal Harbour, Canada Place & Gastown. Great price for downtown Vancouver. Highly recommend.
