Every room of this recently remodeled hotel has a balcony that hangs out over the water. It’s a great place to sit and watch fishing boats and wildlife. The affordable kitchenette suite with two queen beds would be ideal for a small family. With stovetop, microwave, sink and refrigerator, you’ll be able to prepare meals in your room. There’s a convenience store attached to the hotel for any small grocery needs.

Cascade Creek Inn is located 2 miles from the airport and the rest of downtown. It’s an easy drive to a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Family-friendly attractions, such as the Alaska Raptor Center and the Sitka National Historic Park are easy to find. A few miles further east of downtown is the popular Fortress of the Bear, an educational bear rescue center. The Inn also runs fishing charters from its location, so you don’t have to look anywhere else to book a fun day on the ocean. With its waterfront location, spacious rooms and affordable rates, Cascade Creek Inn is a great choice for your Alaskan family vacation.

Fabulous Present for a new College Graduate

I took my son, 23, on this trip to Sitka and fishing with Cascade Creek Inn & Charters as a graduation present for finishing his college degree and we could not have had a better experience.

The whole Kraft family made our experience extra special. Rich and Karen are fantastic hosts and the rest of the family were extraordinary chefs, boat captains, etc... providing not only great meals and an exceptional fishing experience but excellent recommendations for local hikes, restaurants and were just great company for conversation as well. The views from our room at the lodge were exceptional - rainbows, awesome sunsets over the pacific, sea life, etc... right from our deck outside our room.

We could not recommend Cascade Creek any more highly to anyone wanting to have a great time in Sitka !

Clean, Comfortable, Kind

We stayed in the apartment overlooking the water. Very kind owners that made us feel very welcome. The apartment had an amazing design and was very clean. All the amenities that you need were available to us. We were able to look at the Volcano every day. In addition, a bald eagle flew by quite often. The balcony was fun to sit and drink coffee on while wrapped up and listening to the waves. Would recommend!
