Chanalai Flora Resort, situated at Kata Beach, is a four-star seaview hotel that makes for a relaxing family break next to the Andaman sea. This hotel is one of four Chanalai resorts in Phuket, Flora being the most family-friendly option. Accommodation options for families include a superior garden view room, a deluxe pool view room, a grand deluxe pool view room or an executive superior room. The hotel offers interconnecting rooms for larger families or those with teenagers.

Vacations at the resort are taken on an all-inclusive basis, which offers up food and drinks from four onsite restaurants and bars. Restaurants have good children’s menus with dishes such as goofy beef burgers and superman spaghetti. Additionally, in room service is available to order from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

There are two children’s pools for youngsters and an adult pool for those wanting a bit more peace and quiet. The kids’ club has a children’s play area and there are activities to keep little ones busy. Babysitting is also available 24 hours a day.

This is our second time at the resort in 2 years so clearly we were happy with our first visit! Second time has not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The daily breakfasts are plentiful with an egg chef preparing your eggs as you like them. The omelettes were amazing. A good choice of other hot foods, fruits and pastries.
The location is ideal set just back from the main road. We had a 5th floor room with amazing sea views that was blissfully quiet.
The pools are wonderful and never seemed crowded. Perfectly clean and enticing after a day of activity. Kata beach is a short stroll and there is an enormous choice of dinner locations on the Main Street.
In short, great service, great location, fabulous views and beautiful rooms.

I loved our fresh room gorgeous view and clean!
Breakfast was good, not much choice was quality more then quantity.
Pool was lovely they had a gym
Lots of steps not suitable for less mobile or wheelchair users in my opinion.
Deposit is required on arrival
Location up a slight hill. I was scared of dogs and cats running wild!
