This hotel is really nice. Nice rooms, nice food, nice staff. Carol, the concierge, is kind and very service oriented. I really enjoyed my stay. The location is great too with Bryant Park on one side and Times Square on the other side.

Hotel is obviously in a great location. The room - while not very big - was comfortable and practical. I had access to a patio which was nice since I visited in June. The bathroom was a little dated with way too many mirrors, but the built-in TV in the bathroom was pretty neat - probably convenient if you take a bath. I did get a room upgrade, so I'm pretty sure the rooms in that hotel aren't the biggest since it's a old building.

The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, they even ironed my dress shirt for free.

Breakfast was very crowded but good. I did not take a look at the gym since I had a bad cold and wasn’t feeling great. I had a great experience overall and would definitely stay there again.

Additional Info: I needed to stay one night in NYC for a business trip but wasn’t able to find any decent hotels at a reasonable rate and decided to utilize the Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts site to book a night there. Those hotels are usually in a higher category and more expensive, but I figured I’d rather spend $100 more for a good hotel than spend $250 for a mediocre one. I was lucky to get a free room upgrade and a few other perks.
