Located inside the GrandWest Casino Complex, the City Lodge Hotel is an option that families desiring a convenient location and three-star amenities would do well to consider. Rooms are spacious and sleep up to two guests, however interconnecting rooms are available for families. Kids will love the outdoor swimming pool. The whole family will enjoy easy access to an ice-rink, restaurants, cinema complex and a children’s entertainment area. The hotel has its own on-site restaurant available for guests.

Friendly staff and excellent location... Also easy access to all the amenities of the casino complex.

We had a great stay. Good meals served at the local restaurant or a takeaway from the nearby restaurants...

Enjoy a sundowner at the pool...

Decent hotel but no lift (elevator)

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Check in and check out was uneventful. The property as such is really nice with the location (inside the GrandWest Casino campus) and its Dutch architecture. The breakfast spread is nice and the staff are courteous. In terms of distance, it is about 20-30 mins to CPT airport, Gardens, CBD, Waterfront etc.

The room is small and the bed was queen size. Don't think this property has any rooms with a king size bed. So tall people, be aware. Amenities are basic but adequate for a short stay. The TVs can be larger as what we had was more like a computer monitor! Biggest disadvantage is that there is no lift in this property. Luckily we travelled light and didn't have a problem. But if you have kids or large suitcases, it can become an issue.

3.5 stars would have been the best rating for this hotel, in my opinion.
