Shockingly expensive for the hotel rooms given the overall quality.

Pros: Staff very friendly, apple cider at checkin

Oddities: No mini fridge, no access to ice, small rooms with angled ceilings I kept banging my head on, bed sheets and pillows felt cheap, "slopeside" room faced an access road, not the ski slope.

I’ve struggled for an hour thinking about this review. So many pros, but so many cons as well. The property is beautiful, and the mountain/landscape views, IF YOU GET ONE, are superb. This hotel is a resort and not cheap to stay at! For an average of $330 to $360 per night, we were looking forward to a first-class experience. This was a bucket list trip for us combining tennis holiday with R & R with a 9-day booking followed by another 4 day booking. Upon arrival, we were given a suite looking at a wall of trees over the dog pooping area. I literally raised a STINK because the hotel was almost empty. Very upsetting way to start our vacation. The issue was finally addressed by Devon, in reservations. The minimal staff were all great (Desk managers: Elena, Alan, Josh) and we enjoyed our meals at Rumbles. It was slow season so many amenities were closed which is not made clear on the website. We had a suite so we had a full kitchen; had anyone reserved a regular room (which we had originally planned), they had no fridge, microwave, very poor lighting; no ice machines nor vending machines in hotel ??????? The small gift shop is open minimal hours so you have “go into town for vitals “ All in all, the website could be much clearer about what to expect; communication is key in laying the groundwork for an awesome vacation. The weather and the locale were superb and our suite was very comfortable (as it should have been). We were glad to be able to have our dog with us.
