Located near many places of historical significance, families will enjoy learning about the state’s history through fun family activities. Visit the state’s first capitol at Old Cahawba Archaeological Park. There guests can view the ruins of the state capitol abandoned after the Civil War. Old Live Oak Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in the area and is open for visitors daily. The Museum of Slavery and Civil Rights is sure to interest and inform any history lover. Guests can come back to the hotel to enjoy a free breakfast and an outdoor pool. Guestrooms have two queen beds and can accommodate up to four guests.

I personally had no problems with the hotel but my husband pointed out that every time we came downstairs, the hall doors were propped open. We saw several people come in off the street and get drinks, or go wandering down the halls. Otherwise, the room was clean and spacious, our breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

This time I had room 121 at the end of the main hall way. The room was clean and nice to stay in. However after looking around the room and under the chair next to the wall I fond a ladies shoe. I went out in the hallway and placed it in the trash. sure would be nice to have the removable shower head. Have ne at home love it.
