The Comfort Inn University is a pet-friendly hotel with easy access to Gainesville Regional Airport, the attractions at the University of Florida and many local attractions families enjoy including the Butterfly Rainforest at the Florida Museum of Natural History and the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, open during the warmer months, and a decent little fitness center, too. There is free Wi-Fi throughout. Pick up a free newspaper in the lobby in the morning on your way to the hotel’s free hot breakfast, which includes waffles, eggs, bacon, cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit.

The guestrooms are spacious and well lit and each has a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a large TV. For some good peace of mind, the hotel has first-aid staff on call 24 hours a day. Guest laundry service is also available.

Great place to stop

The hotel lobby, room, and breakfast areas were very clean. It was very modern in decor. Everything was in perfect working order. The food selection was typical; hot & cold selections. I would stay here again. *One note: this hotel is not right off the Interstate, but is close enough.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. They are really attentive to the needs and wants of their guests and will do whatever needed to fulfill their requests. The hotel is very conveniently located with easy access to whatever is needed.
