The complimentary hot breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, waffles, various breakfast meats, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Rooms feature televisions, hair dryers, coffeemakers, microwaves, and refrigerators. Nearby attractions include the Lincoln Home, Scheels Sporting Goods, the Illinois State Capitol, Prairie Capital Convention Center, Lake Springfield Marina, and the Washington Park Botanical Garden. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is noon. Guests must be at least 21 years old to check-in on their own.

WONDERFUL Place to Stay

We stayed at this Comfort Suites for two nights. We were in Springfield to visit the Lincoln Museum and the Dana Thomas House (Frank Lloyd Wright). The hotel was very clean and comfortable--seemed newer or at least updated. Our king-sized bed was wonderfully comfortable. The manager gave us a free upgrade as there were several groups with teenagers at the hotel and he wanted to give us a quieter room on a different level as we had asked for a quiet room. So very nice of him! The breakfast was very good--lots of choices. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

1st night road trip

I (for once) have nothing bad to say about a hotel. Check in was quick. Breakfast was good and stocked up. It was nice to have something quick so we could hit the road again. We even got in on their Wednesday night free dinner. Don't remember what they called it. The room was quiet, clean and spacious. All the staff members that we crossed paths with were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again if we were in town. This was the best hotel of our trip.
