Just a touch outside of the hub of Helen sits the Country Inn & Suites, Helen. You’ll find free cookies, coffee and hot chocolate available in the cozy lobby. The Country Inn’s rooms offer the choice of one king or two queen beds; one-bedroom suites deliver more square-footage with a separate living room; and the king specialty room wows with a fireplace and a whirlpool tub. All rooms have a mini-fridge and a microwave.

Amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The Country Inn brand also has a unique Read It & Return Lending Library – ideal if you forgot to pack a good book. The property also has an indoor pool, whirlpool, and a fitness room.

On Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 5:30 p.m., hot hors d’oeuvres and your choice of soda, beer and wine appear at the Be Our Guest Reception.

Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, Helen is a six-minute walk to Cool River Tubing, 1.6-miles to Helen Tubing & Helen Water Park, three-minute walk to Pirates Cove Adventure Golf, 3.7-miles to Chattahoochee Stables, 11-miles to Sunburst Stables & Zip lines.

Octoberfest stay

We had superb customer service at this property. The well-appointed and clean room worked perfect for our family of five with the extra sofa bed for sleeping. Breakfast was good. Would highly recommend this Country Inn and Suites for anyone! It appeared to be the nicest place in Helen, GA.

Delightful Stay

Visited for the Annual Octoberfest celebration. Easy check in. The hotel does appear a bit older but the room was spotless, had a lovely fireplace in the corner and the ambiance was greatly enjoyed. Used stairs as the elevator just appeared too small and old looking for my comfort. As a walker anyway, no issue for me especially being on second floor. King bed was comfy, plenty of pillows and a large bathroom. Nice amenities in bath area as well. Breakfast was included. It was very good! First time making myself a waffle which was Delicious. Fresh fruit. Delicious Hot coffee. Area was clean and refilled quickly. We all commented on the breakfast. Easily walkable to the festival ( which is in a building and is not return) Check out was easy as well. AAA rate was good.
