Our room was very old, with stains everywhere in the carpet, on the walls, etc. Bathroom light only worked some of the time. Bed was sagging and lumpy. The entire room smelled like stinky feet so bad we had to open the windows. That’s when we saw the screens were bent like someone had tried to break in.

Outlet under the desk was falling apart with exposed wires. Not safe.

The bathroom door squeaked so loud that I thought it was broken. No maintenance person was on site when we inquired about it at 5pm. Gone for the day. Just needed some WD40 but I wasn’t about to spend $20 on an Uber to go buy it for them when they didn’t care at all. Did not even offer to put us in different room when we let them know ours was in poor condition.

Elevator is very sketchy. At one point it appeared to have stopped working altogether when I was in it. Scary!

I can’t believe I paid extra to be “upgraded” to this room. We had a week in town but checked out the next day. I spent 183 nights in hotels for work so far this year and I’d say this was on par with the Days Inn in Detroit or the Comfort Suites in Buffalo. I have to wonder where all these glowing reviews came from.

Good Hotel, well maintained & staffed. Convenient location from downtown,parks,and airport. Rooms and lobby tastefully decorated. Facilities updated,bed was comfortable. Hottub,pool and exercise room are very nice.
