We were looking for a clean, Comfortable, quiet affordable lodging for a Saturday night in Melborne. Our room was spotless, with fridge and microwave, and a really comfortable bed. Blackout curtains and quiet surroundings assisted with a good nights sleep. The room was updated with modern furnishings and swivel flat screen TV, ice was just down the hall. A restaurant is on site but we were meeting friends so didn't eat there. I liked the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner being in pump wall mounted containers.

We stayed here while moving to the area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always taking extra time to make sure our stay was first class. Cathia and Marie R. were especially kind. The bistro staff, front desk and manager run this small, quiet place as if it were a grand 5-star hotel. Short drive to the beach and several good restaurants near by. Rooms were clean and quiet and could not have asked for a better welcome to our new hometown. (There is a safe as mentioned below but is not in the room but at the front desk.)
