The room was really clean and bed extremely comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The mini fridge in the room came in handy as well as the microwave and there's a massy on the compound which was very thoughtful and convenient. The buffet breakfast at Lighthouse was exceptional. Enjoyed every moment!
Crews Inn by far has the best staff of any hotel we’ve stayed in Trinidad, and we’ve not had a bad experience in any hotel so that’s saying a lot. The grounds are beautiful and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and amazingly quiet. The front desk staff is knowledgeable about all aspects of the hotel and marina and were extremely helpful in making us a reservation for a slip for our 50’ sailboat in the coming months.
The restaurant has excellent food and, again, the staff is amazing; remembering you and greeting you with a true sense of friendship as if you’ve known them for years. A free buffet breakfast every morning is a welcome touch also. I’ve met some interesting people at the bar in the evening and have actually become friends with the bartenders and know about their lives and families and vice versa. They taught me Cricket and we enjoyed watching the matches of the men’s World Cup Finals and it was great to actually understand the game.
I recommend Crews Inn whole heartedly; it’s beautiful, safe, welcoming, and truly does feel like you have a home there. Wonderful experience.
