Stayed here after having 2 holidays cancelled with love holidays but really wanted to go so booked again.
Didnt realise that the hotel was closing 2 days after we left first couple of days ok then all we got was no entertainment, ran out of most drinks and mixers and all we got told was finished!! Food was scaled down to hardly anything and what was their was cold had to get take aways and eat out. Complained to the assistant manager who said it wasnt right and got his senior who just argued with him and refused to see us. One lady we met was ill from the food plus several others but they told her she must have a food allergy? One barman tried his best but other staff couldnt be bothered.
And the worst experience was that a guest collapsed in the coridoor lady asked staff for help and they just left him sadly he died and was left in the coridoor for 2 hours and they didnt close of the coridoor no respect for his poor family.

Visited Crystal green bay October 2019 check in wasn't smooth although only 6 people checked in at the same time, there was a lot of guest complaining. The room we was given in the main hotel was very very basic with bunk beds also in the room and a very small bathroom there is no way 5 star hotel. Entertainment wasnt the best (maybe just the time of year) negatives out the way, the bay where the hotel is situated is superb the pier sunbeds are great some good water sports too boat trip was OK but you anchor up at some very random places. Food was OK again not 5 star quality snack bar in the afternoon was probably the best we had no issues with any staff all polite and friendly the bar of a night had some big queues although hotel was quite empty. I really didn't want to give any negative feedback on the hotel it does need a refurb and update. Wouldn't say I'll never go back if just for the views of the bay and calmness. I really hope they spend some money on hotel and the rooms it deserves it. All in all it was a great break so thank you to all the hard working staff
