Families visiting Jerusalem have a unique opportunity to enjoy the culture and history of one of the oldest cities in the world. The area also offers guests plenty of chances for adventure. The David Citadel Hotel boasts a prime location in the middle of the excitement, and spacious guestrooms can accommodate four guests. Each room comes complete with luxury amenities, flat screen televisions, private bathrooms and air-conditioning. The three onsite restaurants serve a variety of kosher, local and internationally inspired meals. Kids will enjoy the dedicated kids’ club, while parents can take advantage of the spa services. The nearby Old City and the Western Wall also come highly recommended.

Good but not exceptional

Good stuff:-
Perfect location
Very nice room & balcony and good views
Very comfortable bed
Good breakfast and decent coffee
Concierge very helpful

Less good stuff:-
Common parts of the hotel a little tired
No obvious signature restaurant
I shouldn't need to ask for the $50 room credit to be deducted from the bill
Wouldn't accommodate my request for a late (1.30pm!) check out

We had dinner 1 night at the roof top restaurant at the Mamilla across the road (recommended!) and had a look round the hotel - obviously we didn't see the rooms but on the basis of what we did see I would put he Mamilla above the David Citadel.

Jerusalem visit

The hotel is a wonderful place to stay; close to the old city and walking distance from many shops. Front desk staff including Joddie, Meital and Yazan were a pleasure to deal with. Housekeeping did a very nice job
