Staff - everyone we encountered from check-in to check-out were friendly, kind, helpful and professional.
Location - a 30 second walk to JL Kayu Aya...boutiques, restaurants and bars. Easy to get a Bluebird taxi if going further afield.
Room attendance - daily cleaning and evening turndown service was excellent. The villa was spotless each day and in the evening mosquito coils and spraying of the bedroom. Loved the little ‘treats’ left on the bed each day and cute towel animals!
Villa - spacious with good sized pool. Huge bed with canopy and enormous bathroom. Lighting in bathroom isn’t great (we have found this to be quite usual in Bali). It’s clear that in its heyday these villas would have been stunning and are now beginning to show a little wear and tear however for the price point, location and beautiful staff, it’s a great option.
We were a family of four adults staying in the only three bedroom villa at Disini Villas which we booked based on what we saw of the other villas on the website. The interior of the three bedroom was not shown as such on the website. This villa was extremely disappointing and not what we expected at all. The master bedroom was enormous with a strange and bizarre mixture of furniture whilst the other two bedrooms were very small by comparison with none or very little clothes storage space. Not good when staying for a week or more. These two bedrooms also shared a very small bathroom which again was tiny compared to the size of the villa. Given that up to six people could use this villa there was only one sun bed available when we arrived but in actual fact there wasn’t enough space to put six sun beds as the pool area couldn’t accommodate them. The decor in the villa was very dated and smelt musty and not at all in keeping with our expected Balinese style. We had to ask the staff to put the pool lights on most evenings and they also had to replace several blown interior lightbulbs and fix broken wooden slats around the pool. The staff at Disini were extremely helpful and attentive (they provided two more sunbeds immediately) but overall it was a very disappointing experience and if this had been our first visit to Seminyak we would probably never return.
