Disneyland Paris
When in Europe you may not be thinking of Disney, but Disneyland Paris may be an exciting side trip for the kids complaining of too many trips to museums and palaces. Instead, they may prefer a more familiar palace: Cinderella’s Castle. Just 35 minutes from Paris via the Regional Express Train (RER A) so you don’t even have to drive, you can enjoy all the allure of Paris, as well as a kid-friendly visit to the house of the mouse. Of course, with 14 Disney themed resorts as fun as its American counterparts, you can also spend a great deal of time getting lost in the magic of Disney.
Disneyland Paris features Cinderella’s beloved castle, as well as Disneyland Park, with Adventureland, Frontierland, Discoverland, Fantasyland and Disney’s traditional Main Street. Four “cinemagical lots” can be enjoyed at Walt Disney Studios Park, or head over to Disney Village entertainment complex featuring Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show and 10 themed restaurants. It’s all the magic and charm of Disney set in the rolling French countryside just outside of Paris.
