Book a guestroom or suite at the DoubleTree by Hilton Des Moines Airport and enjoy cozy accommodations close to where you’ll need to catch a flight. Room amenities include king or double beds, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers. Suites also come with microwaves and mini-fridges. Complimentary cribs are available upon request.

Enjoy the pool at the hotel or visit surrounding attractions, such as the Downtown Farmers Market or Principal Park, both of which are just minutes away.

Onsite dining is available at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and until 9 p.m. on Sunday. Children’s menus are available for little ones. If you don’t feel like journeying downstairs, dine in your room — a menu is available all day long. A 24-hour pavilion pantry is also open for guests who may need snacks and essentials.

A waste of your points if you're a Hilton cardholder

The bedside lights did not work and I specifically choose the room with the fireplace (which was an additional cost) and the fireplace did not work. The living room remote did not work so it was a total waste of my points. I was only supposed to be in town for one day but ended up needing an additional night and booked a room across the street at the Holiday Inn. For less points they gave me a 4 room suite, kitchen and 2 bath. I typically stay at the doubletree and have been satisfied until this stay.

Informed front desk and he appeared less than concerned and stated he would inform maintenance.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Johnny’s Restaurant is attached to the hotel. They have very good food and a beautiful bar.
Wince coming back from AZ in the winter we found our car buried in snow. My husband had a broken wrist, so the staff sent us into the bar for dinner while they shoveled the car out. Absolutely, above and beyond.
