The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Princeton provides affordable accommodations in Princeton, New Jersey, within a short drive of Princeton University and the downtown area. The hotel itself is situated along Route 1, a busy thoroughfare. A complimentary shuttle takes guest to the college, downtown area and Princeton Train Station.

Hotel perks include an onsite restaurant, The Ridgeway Bar & Grille, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner; complimentary Wi-Fi; a fitness center; and warm chocolate chip cookies served at check-in — the kids will love it!

Guestrooms are equipped with one king or two double beds and coffeemakers. Suites have king beds and living areas with sofa beds, with the addition of mini-fridges for storing snacks and beverages. Cribs and rollaway beds are available. Upgrade to an Executive Room to receive access to the Executive Club Lounge, where you’ll enjoy complimentary breakfast, snacks and beverages.

My stay was pleasant and they accommodated the children with no issues. The breakfast selection could have been better..it was just a bunch of eggs and mini pastries, no cereal for the kids or yogurt, etc
