Overlooking Tampa Bay, the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tampa Bay is an all-suite hotel with several convenient facilities and a great location that’s ideal for families visiting the city or surrounding attractions. The hotel is located right by the water with sparkling sunset views of Tampa Bay, and is just 3 miles from the upscale International Plaza shopping center and 8 miles from downtown Tampa. Beaches are about 30 minutes away, but there’s all manner of diverse dining options and cultural attractions such as museums and galleries nearby. The hotel has a waterfront pool overlooking a nature reserve with a restaurant where you can sit for a meal and enjoy the views.

Kids love the freshly baked cookies offered on arrival. And your family can spread out in the spacious suites overlooking the pool and bay. Suites have a separate sleeping and living area and include a wet bar, mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The hotel has a casual onsite restaurant and in-room dining, too.

Excellent stay, will be even better after the lobby renovation is completed

The hotel location is excellent and overlooks the water. The rooms are really nice, dark, and quiet. The bathroom is very large and classy.
The staff was extremely helpful. The elevator was really quick. Overall, excellent stay!

Would stay there again but after the renovations are complete

The hotel is undergoing renovations to the check-in area, restaurant and some of the rooms. It was inconvenient. They warned us twice that the water would be shut off to the hotel during the night but it was not the problem I expected. The ice machine on our floor was unavailable because it was on part of our floor that was being renovated. The staff offered to bring us ice but I went down and got it myself.
Our room was very nice so the renovations will be worth it when the whole place is finished. Staff was very nice. Hotel is located centrally to the highways and waterfront restaurants. The cookies they give you upon check in were great!
