We stayed the night before our cruise to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We arrived late, as our flight from Chicago was cancelled and we had to drive from Chicago to New Orleans -- a 13 1/2 hour trip. Luckily we got a quick bite at the bar before bed (great service, btw) and took advantage of the very nice hot breakfast the next day. But the REAL service was rendered on a day when we were NOT staying there. When we came in from the cruise the next Sunday morning, we had planned on storing our bags with bag b'n'b and spending the day sightseeing, since our flight wasn't until 6:30 p.m., but the 24-hour location was no longer participating. We didn't want to pay $80 to send bags to the airport from the port, because, well, $80! I took a chance and asked if Drury would hold our bags for the day, and Raymundo and Star helped us out! They treated us like valued guests, even though we were just passing through, helped us get tickets for the hop on/hop off tour bus and just were so kind to us after a frustrating morning. We enjoy sailing out of NOLA because it's such a cool city to spend time in before and after. When we do, Drury Inn will be our FIRST choice of hotel from now on.

Stayed 5 days and enjoyed stay. Having breakfast each day gave us time to plan our excursions. Kickback in
evening gave us time to relax before heading out for evening.
