From the outside the hotel doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that put you off. The hotel and room was very clean, staff was friendly, and the price was good. The hotel is on Route 66.

Not really a con, but if you have trouble climbing stairs then ask for a room on the first floor.

I stay here every year. The one thing I can count on is the consistency in Econolodge old town. A warm welcome and Fair priceing and a clean room after a 2000 mile train ride,I know I can count on it. I seen this place come out of a mess to a good place for family to stay. Location is excellent. 3 blocks to Old Town. 2 blocks to zoo. They have a very clean pool and area. Also have bikes you can rent. And the bus runs downtown. They do shuttle to help their customers. I come from Amtrak station and all I need is call on arrival. Very pet friendly but do tell them you have a pet. I highly recommend this motel. Elena hi. Yes I'm here.
