Centrally located between downtown, Crown Center and the Country Club Plaza, this hotel is just that — convenient to all of the major sites and activities in Kansas City. Nice enough

This property is fairly typical. The property is nicely located and convenient to many things. Parking is free.

The property appears in good repair, although there were elevator maintenance issues when we checked in. The rooms are of decent size.

There was a noisy mini fridge in the room. The heater is also quite loud. Room decorations are minimal. The blackout drapes don’t close all the way and the sheers have a giant hole in them.

The bed was overly firm and I didn’t sleep well on it. The TV was smallish but had a nice picture and a good channel lineup. The furnishings were somewhat minimal.

The bathroom was of average size. The water pressure was very weak.

Breakfast was mediocre, but free.

This was my 2nd time staying here. The room I stayed in looked like it was recently updated with a new rug. The bed was comfortable. Always love being able to open the window to let some fresh air into the room. The staff at the front desk and the cleaning crew were extremely friendly and made my day by giving me compliments during my stay. There was a good variety for breakfast.
