The Fairmont is a high-rise hotel set in Nob Hill that presents beautiful city and bay views. Intimate luxury suites are elaborately decorated with marble bathroom floors and living rooms. Large families will be comfortable as many of the suites have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. All units feature modern amenities, like flat-screen televisions and MP3 docking stations. Also, guests will feel comfy with Frette linen sheets and pillowtop beds. The Laurel Court restaurant offers local dishes and wines. The terrace has an upscale Asian restaurant and bar. Parents may want to visit the onsite spa or health club.

The front desk staff and hotel are lovely. My room was comfortable and the view spectacular.

I have to say though, the restaurant/lounge food and staff were not great. Service was poor and food not what I expect from Fairmont. Thankfully there are many other choices and the everything else Fairmont was great.

If you need a driver, make sure you ask for Ivan and his Town car. He is a lovely man and worth every penny for my trip to the airport.

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I stayed at The Fairmont for the first time in October. This was probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room was on the 22nd floor of the Tower right next to the Diplomat Suite/Tony Bennett Suite. Our stay included the breakfast each morning which was amazing! It is in a great location. Good restaurants within walking distance. We also ate at the Tonga Room which was good and a very cool experience. I would definitely stay here again!
