The G Hotel Gurney is a stylish resort offering 312 rooms in Georgetown. Parts of the hotel have sea views and it is conveniently located next to Gurney Mall and nearby Paragon. Its cosmopolitan location means that many amenities are within walking distance and the beach is not far away. There are seven bars and restaurants onsite, including all-day dining at Taste, a pool bar, and a South Korean fried chicken restaurant. Families with picky little ones (or big ones) may be pleased to discover that mini-bar drinks and snacks are complimentary and there is a free ice cream treat on arrival.

There aren’t any rooms specifically designed for families, but the Deluxe Room has two double beds and cots or extra bedding can be provided. The XL suite has an extra room with single beds. There is a fitness center within the hotel, and the hotel’s centerpiece is the stunning infinity pool.

Excellent Hotel

Short get away for my birthday. Suprised by the birthday cake delivered to the room. Staff were very observant on the date even though we did not mentioned the reason during check-in.

Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Marc who checked us in was very professional and confident. Chef Concierge Junaidi and his Team were very friendly, helpfull and courteous. We were greeted by name whenever we use the main entrance and always with a smile. We felt very welcomed and really enjoyed the hospitality thoughout our stay.

My wife is planning for another trip to Penang with the family and looking forward to stay at G Hotel Gurney. I'm sure the rest of the family will enjoy too.

Excellent Service & Good Location

Check in and check out services very efficient. Hotel rooms are very spacious and clean. Good locations as Gurney Plaza Mall is just next door so dining is not a problem. The famous tourist attraction open food court is also just next to the mall.
