Perched high on a hill several miles from the entrance to Denali National Park, the Grande Denali Lodge has commanding views of the Nenana River and surrounding mountains. You can enjoy those views from your room, which will have two queen beds and room for a crib or rollaway, or from the expansive deck that wraps around the main lodge. Local tour companies will pick you up right at your hotel for a full day of exploration in the park. Popular excursions include a guided Jeep Safari, river rafting and a visit to a dog sled kennel.
