My husband and I visited Greenwood Beach Resort two years in a row. Pauline is a great hostess and scuba diver instructor. I have several food allergies, Pauline made me delicious food that was safe for me to eat. My husband was having a hard time adjusting to scuba diving. Pauline was patient with us to the point my husband was able to dive and be near sharks without any fear or reservations. The beach is beautiful. The coral was colorful and full of wildlife. We highly recommend Greenwood Beach Resort.

GF and I visited Greenwood Beach Resort in August 2019. We truly had a wonderful time. Antoine and Pauline are the best hosts, and just wonderful people. The beach is spectacular, words can’t describe it. The hotel is so friendly, it’s like visiting with your family. The food was great. We both like seafood, and Greenwood has the best! Breakfast and dinner were delicious, we both agreed.
Cat Island was warm, 90s every day, so we were glad to have an A/C room. The ocean was 90, too! We were on the beach everyday. You can walk for miles and never see another person. They say the only footprints you see will be your own, and it’s true.
We liked our room. It was clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We slept like babies. It’s nice to fall asleep to the sound of the waves washing up on the shore, and wake up to them, too! And the A/C kept it comfortable.
We rented a car one day, and went exploring. It was fun, and we could have spent more time poking around, but we decided we’d rather spend our time on the beach and in the water. We did go to Old Bight Beach and it was beautiful and the water was calm. We’d like to go there again.
We loved Greenwood, and can’t wait to go back! We give it 5 stars, and 4 thumbs up!
