This is the best trip we've ever had to Big Bear we've been coming with our family for the last 20 years or so and this was our first time staying at grey squirrel Resort.

My 9 yr old daughter and I just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Grey Squirrel Resort. We stayed in Elk and it was absolutely perfect for us! Had everything we could possibly need! The cabin was rustic and charming, bed was very comfortable as was the cabin itself. What I loved most about GSR was the patio door opened to a table & chairs. Beyond that, there was a bocci ball or lawn bowling court, shuffle board, basketball & volleyball court (there were several balls just laying around, so no need to bring one), pool table and a fire pit surrounded by park benches next to a couple of nice gas grills. On Saturday afternoon, all the guests were out mingling, playing games, barbecuing and enjoying the weather. The location was great too! Walking distance to the lake and only a mile from the village. It was such a relaxing experience! The staff and owner were wonderful! We will be back many times in the future!
