Two miles from downtown Artesia, the Hampton Inn & Suites Artesia is a non-smoking property with guestrooms and suites. All accommodations have either king or queen beds, a coffee maker, an iron with ironing board, a hairdryer, a 42-inch flat-screen HDTV, and free Wi-Fi access. Suites also have a sleeper sofa, a refrigerator and a microwave. Cribs are available upon request. The hotel serves a free hot breakfast each morning, and coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24 hours a day. High chairs are available, too. For guests who don’t have time to sit down and eat, the hotel provides free On the Run Breakfast Bags, available Monday to Friday. Other hotel amenities include an indoor heated swimming pool, a fitness center and guest laundry facilities.

Beautiful property

We were attending a conference and stayed at the Hampton Inn in Artesia. It was cold outside and we were greeted with hot coffee. A container of fresh cookies was available as well as oranges and apples. The room was beautiful, large and quiet. We enjoyed breakfast before checking out. The breakfast was one of the best I have had! There was a fine selection of fresh fruit, bacon, two kinds of eggs, etc. Well done, Hampton Inn.

Cold showers and floppy pillows

Initially the check in experience was normal until bedtime. The pillows appeared to be voluminous and firm until they were used.Disappointed in pillow quality. Awoke to a cold shower, staff stated they would run hot water in the kitchen downstairs to help get hot water to my room which I thought was rather unusual. Overall floppy pillows and cool showers made for little rest and rejuvenation.
