The Hampton Inn Augusta offers complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi, along with modern guestrooms that have mini-fridges and microwaves — everything a family could need during their stay in Augusta, Maine. Guestrooms have one king or two double beds, and cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request. Connecting units are also available (cannot be guaranteed, however). Free parking and a guest laundry facility round out the appeal for families at this budget-friendly property.

very hard mattresses

We found the mattresses extremely firm. As I realize that people like all different types there was nothing that could be done to help us with this issue. I have a bad back and slept very poorly due to the hard mattress. A foam or mattress topper would have made the world of difference.

Good hotel

We stayed here for one night whilst touring New England. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and recommended places for dinner. The room was a reasonable size, the bed comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The included breakfast had a very good choice though I was surprised at the disposable plates/bowls/cups and cutlery!
