The Hampton Inn Erie-South puts families close to the shores of Lake Erie at Presque Isle State Park. It’s also close to the Bayfront Convention Center. Guests of the hotel can expect free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. Guestrooms are equipped with one king or two queen beds, as well as mini-fridges, microwaves and coffeemakers.

Check-in time is 4 p.m.; check-out is noon.

We Stay at this hotel when we visit my daughter who attends Mercyhurst. During our most recent trip, Sara at the front desk was awesome in getting us an extra night at the last minute. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Frequently saw staff cleaning in the lobby. Breakfast was great. They even had pumpkin spice waffles! Coffee and tea always available which is great.

Annual Erie Christmas shopping trip

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is excellent as we were there to do some Christmas shopping so we love being close to the stores.
