The Hampton Inn Glenwood Springs Hotel caters specifically to families with 70 rooms with either one king or two queen beds and three suites with whirlpool. There is free hot breakfast and a large patio to snack or play cards while taking in the views and fresh Rocky Mountain air. From the hotel, families can walk to numerous attractions, shopping and dining locations. There is an indoor pool for families that is very clean and inviting. All guestrooms come with a flat-screen HDTV, a microwave oven, a mini-refrigerator and a coffeemaker.

Usually reliable property, a few glitches on a recent trip

We have stayed at this property many times. It's been a good experience for the most part, but this time we noticed that the bed was in serious need of being replaced. Hallway carpets need cleaning or replacement. And -- the horror! -- the evening desk clerk "couldn't find" the key to make the signature cookies. A small detail, but in the hospitality industry it's all about the details...

Great hotel in a cool little town

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The room was nice and large and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of free parking and pretty easy access to the highway. Tons of places to eat around town as well.
