The Hampton Inn Tunkhannock is located in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, just outside of Scranton and Wilkes Barre. Family-friendly things to do nearby include shopping at The Marketplace at Steamtown (Scranton), picking your own flowers at Creekside Gardens, and canoeing, kayaking or tubing on the Susquehanna River.

The hotel offers 67 guestrooms and suites. Guestrooms have one king or two queen beds, while suites have king beds and sofa beds. Cribs and rollaway beds can be requested. Mini-fridges, coffeemakers and microwaves are standard throughout, as is complimentary Wi-Fi.

Excellent Staff

The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful.
The stay overall was excellent.

However the breakfast was sub-par. The fruit was not ripe and the hot selection was slim to none. I ended up eating out.

Staff here are caring and efficient in taking care of their guests. Any needs we had were taken care efficiently from giving directions,to handing out batteries for a child's toy, and opening up another toom so we could eat breakfast together.
