This historic hotel is located in the heart of Salem and is newly renovated. Offering 84 rooms and five suites in the main hotel, as well as three rooms and one suite in the Fidelia Bridges Guest House, the hotel is decorated with 18th century dÃ©cor. Larger families booking with enough notice may book the entire guest house.

Guests will receive free Wi-Fi, free parking, free bottled water, coffee and tea, as well as free access to an area health club with two swimming pools and a fitness center. Guests may request free in-room refrigerators. The hotel provides breakfast and dinner dining in Nat’s Restaurant, as well as lunch and dinner in Tavern on the Green. The hotel is pet friendly.

This hotel is amazing! Their staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. If you go in the off season (ie not October), I recommend getting the room rate that comes with breakfast. They have a very good selection and wonderful coffee. Highly recommend this hotel!

Perfect location

Hawthorne Hotel is not only a luxury hotel it is in the middle of all the action in Salem. The staff was friendly polite and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. My only downer is that you have to go to the lobby for coffee in the morning, they should have coffee makers in the rooms.
