The Hawthorne Motel is the perfect place to experience the natural beauty of Chatham that families know and love.

Rooms range from Deluxe Motel Rooms to the property’s “Cottage at The Hawthorne,” and each includes basic amenities, including free high speed Internet, HD TV’s, daily coffee and fruit in the lobby, mini-fridges and more.

The 27-room property overlooks the beautiful water and the property has its own private beach, ensuring an excellent time for kids and adults. Management, known for their gracious hospitality, provides beach towels and chairs to guests at no extra charge. While there are no onsite dining options, The Hawthorne Motel is in an ideal location; less than a 10-minute walk to town, where guests will find an abundance of shops and restaurants.

And because the motel is a smaller, private property, its owners bend over backwards to help make guests feel as welcome as possible — perfect for a family visiting a new place!

The service and cleanliness was excellent however if we could offer a bit of advice....please (!) upgrade your coffee machines!! The coffee was undrinkable and there were only ever two creamers to 4 cups of coffee. Not a huge investment for a huge gain to the customer.

Nice quaint motel

Staff was amazing, rooms were clean and ours was very bright. Very close to the main street for meals and shopping. We would definitely return back again. The view from the room was spectacular, ocean and boats.
