Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Del Mar is a wonderful hotel for families with kids to go. The hotel is perfect if you’re visiting the Dog Beach, Torrey Pines Gliderport and Flying Leatherneck Museum. Other points of interest include the Windansea Beach and University of California San Diego. The 3-star hotel has a swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness center and nearby golf course. Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Del Mar dining options include onsite restaurant and room service. The Fish Market, Pamplemousse Grille and The Shores Restaurant are all kid-friendly restaurants that are good and are within 5 miles of hotel.

No problems: free parking, quiet, and clean. Had a meeting at UCSD, and it was 2 miles away and much cheaper than closer hotels. Breakfast is not complimentary.

Note that there is another Hilton property (Homewood Suites) right next door. When I booked, the rates were the same.

This was the best place I’ve stayed in the 4 years I’ve been traveling to San Diego on business. Amazing staff. Awesome accommodations! The late night bartender/serve was great and the server for breakfast was so nice and attentive! I was extremely impressed with this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others!
