Staff and rooms were excellent. If you just need a room for one night and have no car, this is a great place to stay. The little bistro was also surprising affordable for about $8 you get a decent breakfast.
I have to give this average rating simply due to parking. It’s $38 a night plus taxes being the total to over $40 just to park your car. It’s the same all over near LAX. But has I really checked I would have stayed someplace else and put that money towards the room. The rate for this Hilton was very reasonable until you add in the parking dollars.
Next time I’ll stay just south in Redondo Beach where hotels are more but parking is free. Means I pay the same as this Hilton but I’ll have a much better atmosphere being near the beach and plenty of walkable areas to eat and visit.
I used the facility for parking due to a trip i took out of LAX. This is strictly related to parking as i did not stay at the hotel.
The experience was absolutely horrible.
I travel constantly, and if i fly out of LAX, i typically would use UBer. Well with LAX making changes to ride share pick up at LAX, it just made more sense for me to drive myself and park at or near the airport. I found the Hilton parking online, and the price was great. less than 70 dollars for valet parking for four and half days.
Well, you get what you pay for. Returning, it took 35 minutes for the shuttle van to arrive and pick me and a few others up During this period, other hotels and parking facilities had vans arriving about every 5 minutes.
The I arrive at the hotel to get the car and have to wait another 20 minutes in line to order my car and have my ticket stamped paid. Add another five or so to actually get the car
In the end, it took one full hour to go from the curb at LAX to get in my car.
The truly frustrating issue was how many shuttle all the competitors for the Hilton had coming to LAX.
