Do NOT stay here! We are long time, faithful patrons of HIE and reserved a room sight unseen at this hotel. Arrived to find a bus full of high school girls soccer team players who had the entire 3rd floor reserved. Not good. Reservation counter decorated in tacky & cheap Halloween decorations. Hotel is old and in dire need of renovation! Worn carpeting and blistering hallway wallpaper welcomed my wife and I to a 2nd floor room. Opened the door to an overpowering dirty and musty smell. Old furniture. Bed and piilows looked slept in. Awful. Cancelled room and drove to Huntsville HIE which was EXCELLENT!

Very friendly welcome. King room had an easy chair and footstool, one desk chair and work bench, a small round table, chest of drawers, and a small wardrobe, microwave and fridge. Fair sized bathroom with shower over bath. Good breakfast.
