Amenities at the Holiday Inn Express Denver Airport include an indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, a complimentary fitness center, onsite guest laundry facilities, a business center, complimentary wireless internet access in all rooms, a complimentary full breakfast buffet, complimentary coffee in the lobby, kids ages 19 and under stay for free when sharing a room with their parents, and up to four kids ages 12 and under eat free any time of the day at the onsite restaurant. The indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The complimentary fitness center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well, and features a stair stepper, a treadmill, elliptical machines, and a stationary bike. The onsite guest laundry facilities are open daily from 6 a.m. to noon. Rooms feature irons and ironing boards, hair dryers, bathtubs, separate showers, mini-fridges, coffee and tea makers, flat screen televisions, and complimentary coffee and tea supplies. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is noon.

Shuttle never showed up - plus other issues

The toilet wouldn't flush properly even after someone came to fix. The air in the room didn't cool the room down, it was stuffy all night in there causing me not to be able to get great sleep.

My main issue was that I signed up for the 3:30am shuttle to the airport, came down right at 3:30 to check out. I ask the gentleman working about the shuttle and he said it will be right there and nobody showed up. I had to wait for the 4am shuttle which then caused me to almost be late for my flight.

Also the person working at 3:30am when I asked about the shuttle to check out he then walked away from the desk for about 15 minutes so I couldn't find out about where the shuttle was. Then when he came back he continued to watch some kind of tv show or video on the computer loudly.

If I need to stay at an airport property for an early flight again I will just stay at the full service Holiday Inn next door.

Good Overall Experience

We arrived around 6pm for a quick overnight trip before our 5:30am flight. Check in was quick and we were able to schedule the shuttle for the next morning at 4am. The beds were not my favorite, as they were more firm that I would have preferred. But the rooms were clean and a pretty good size. Booked ahead of time and only cost $112 after taxes, which I thought was a great price for the area. We'd stay again if needed.
