Holiday Inn Express Houston Memorial Park Area is a great hotel for families with kids to stay. This hotel is within 10 miles of the The Galleria, Discovery Green and Museum of Fine Arts. A few other attractions include the Water Wall and Reliant Stadium. The hotel has 82 rooms. Each room includes free high-speed Internet and kitchenette. This Houston hotel also has a swimming pool and fitness center. Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, The Chocolate Bar and Backstreet Cafe are all kid-friendly eateries that are good and are near the hotel.

This hotel was perfectly fine for our short overnight stay just outside of central Houston. It’s not the nicest HIE I’ve stayed in, but it was clean and fairly quiet (ask for a top floor room away from the freeway). Parking was free and easy. The breakfast was pretty good. Staff weren’t the friendliest but were professional. In conclusion, it didn’t blow me away but it was good value and was alright.

Great renovated hotel

It is clear the renovation done in this hotel and the lobby and rooms looks great. Only the bathtub looks old and need some improvement.
The area is not the best but you can feel safe in the room.
The breakfast is good and the cinnamon rolls are delightful.
