Five miles from LEGOLAND Florida, the Holiday Inn Express Lake Wales offers a hot complimentary breakfast, a squeaky-clean stay, coin-laundry and free Wi-Fi. Want more? How about a fridge and a microwave in every room, a free DVD library that allows you to take a DVD back to your room to watch on the huge flat-screen TV (loaded with stations) and a nicely designed outdoor pool? The hot breakfast includes hot items like sausage and eggs — and cold items like cereal, fruit and yogurt. (And amazing items like warm cinnamon rolls.) One word of caution: the hotel address isn’t programmed into the GPS system. Get to the hotel by using the Home Depot address next door.

Mosquitoes

Nice room in a nice hotel. However there were mosquitoes in the room and I woke up after the first night with 20 mosquito bites. Water pressure was very low in the shower.

Breakfast was very good.Desk staff was very nice.

Legoland trip

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times. The first time we stayed here, I was not too happy to learn that they were going through a re-model. Construction and children don't mix. However, I had booked through a third party and not directly with the hotel so that information was not provided. In any event, the staff was friendly and accomodating. Once the remodel was complete, we stayed there again and I was happy with the work they did. The rooms were clean, breakfast is great, the staff is friendly.
