We stayed at the hotel from 11/7-11/10. Yesterday morning, after drinking water, brushing my teeth I went to the elevator and found a sign "Water advisory--unsafe water, all water must be boiled before consumption" The notice went on to say that the water was not safe for brushing teeth etc. I immediately went to the front desk and inquired about the ban. The woman informed me that it had been in effect since a water main break the day before!! I said "how come you don't have bottled water on each floor? Why didn't you slip the notice under our doors yesterday, or leave each person a phone message?" She said "oh our manager didn't want to alarm anyone". I was incredulous! I asked "may I have some bottled water for my family? There are 6 of us in 2 rooms" She said "I can only give you a total of 3 bottles".
I was pretty shocked by the poor judgement of hotel manager. We went across the street for breakfast and each restaurant was taking the ban very seriously--wouldn't even serve us coffee, only bottled beverages.
Aside from that the location of this hotel is excellent, price was good but you get what you pay for I guess.

The hotel is just a 2-3 minute walk to the Rosslyn Metro Station which made it convenient for any commute.

The hotel ran out of rooms with a double beds, so we received a king room with a rollaway bed. We ended up not using the rollaway bed as the springs and mattress had seen better days. The room was a bit small and outdated, but had a wonderful balcony with a fantastic view. In particular, the bathroom was very small and the showerhead went up to my chin. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean and were courteous.

Breakfast was included in our room package. I believe the breakfast selection was better at a Holiday Inn Express over this location. The breakfast really didn't have anything sweet other than Fruit Loops. However, the waitstaff were wonderful and the view was great from the 17th floor.

Overall, I felt this hotel was a grear value for the location and was able to overlook the somewhat outdated facilities.
